NEGATIVE SELF-TALK: A PUNCH TO THE FACE

NEGATIVE SELF-TALK: A PUNCH TO THE FACE

“The limits of my language means the limits of my world.”

― Ludwig Wittgenstein

My word of mouth. No matter what words others tell you

Your words have more strength, and they can destroy or create your world.

What you say is what you get; that’s it, I just said it.

Our thoughts about us, as well our own words, affect our circumstances. They build our attitude and our reality.

If you wake up in the morning and say, “I didn’t sleep enough,” and when you go to bed, you say, “I didn’t do enough,” what do you think this says about you?

If you don’t say this to someone you love, why are you saying this to yourself?

Stare down your words like a fighter, and tell them, enough is enough.

Start off by saying something positive and constructive.

In the ring:

“I will fight a good fight.”

On attitude:

“Every day in every way, I am getting better and better.”

On gratitude:

“I am grateful for what I have, and I am working harder for what I want.”

On your words:

“I am the only person responsible for running my mouth.”

“Words can inspire, and words can destroy. Choose yours well.”

– Robin Sharma
