ROAD TO AWARENESS
To be or not to be, that’s the question.
In order to change something, we need to first acknowledge its existence.
It’s like going on a journey. You know where you want to go, but you need to find the best way to get there.
In that equation, finding out who you are is the fundamental discovery.
Without knowing who you are, … self acceptance… change is difficult.
Awareness gives you the opportunity and freedom to change those things you really want to change.
How can you relate to another if you don’t know yourself first?
To understand others, should we not not understand ourselves first?
To know where we want to go, shouldn’t we know where we are starting from?
Why is this important? Because if that doesn’t happen, we will be always running in automatic mode, unaware of what we are thinking or saying, always reacting to life.
In order to arrive at our destination, we need to become proactive. That gives us the ability to choose the roads we want to take.
Most of the time, emotions run our lives without us even being aware.
We have programs running in our mind, and because they are unconscious, they limit our control of our lives; they prevent us from living the life we want, from experiencing the ultimate joy in life.
Do you want to live your life on auto pilot?
Do you want to let the old memories and past experiences dictate what you do in the present?
Or, do you want to create new ones?
Do you want to claim the power of deciding what roads to take in your life?
It’s up to you, and the first step is to start becoming aware of who you are…
You must stop and pay attention, pull back to look with different eyes, and observe what you are doing, feeling, and thinking.
How do you interact with your surroundings? This gives you the possibility of seeing new things and finding new insights, opening doors to new possibilities and choices.
This will lead you to new roads because you are more aware of yourself.
Now, you are ready to start the journey to your new you.
Awareness is the road of all possibilities … enjoy the ride !
